Script for Investiture and Valedictory ceremony
A very Good Morning to everyone. I heartily welcome you all to this bitter-sweet occasion. Bitter because there would be an today and sweet because our students stand on the brink of a new chapter in their life.
A million thanks to everyone who has joined us on the most auspicious ceremonies of a school The Investiture and Valedictory Ceremony.
Let s begin this propitious day with traditional lamp lighting ceremony as a tribute to Ma Saraswati, the Godess of knowledge. So now I call upon Director Ma m and Academic Director sir to kindly light the lamp. I request Principal sir to escort them.
(Mother, we pray for your blessings, with absolute humbleness -- give us wisdom to make this world a better place. May all human beings live in harmony with nature and all other forms of life. May the truth prevail, May the darkness of ignorance be swept away by the dawn of self realization.
Amen)
Easily recognizable as the Elephant deity riding a mouse, Ganesha is arguably the most popular Hindu God.
It is said that no new venture -- is deemed complete without a Ganesh Puja
O Lord Ganesh, you are the revered God of our well being and remover of all obstructions, our humble first invitation is in your name, Please bless this ceremony for a successful completion. So, up next is Ganesh Vandana
What a divine performance!
Next I would like to call upon Principal Sir, the navigator of this flagship of knowledge to address us.
Thank You, Sir

The investiture ceremony is one of the first momentous occasions of the school where the newly elected and selected members of the school s senate are officially vested with their powers and positions.
Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow, when we develop personality, skill and mind we develop responsible human beings with leadership qualities.
Today, as we celebrate investiture of our new student councilors; we would also like to thank our graduating student leaders in the student council for their contribution to the school.
It is good to remember that leaders grow; they are not made.
So to begin with the investiture ceremony I would like to call upon our director Ma m and Academic Director Sir along with Principal Sir to confer our students with badges and sashes.
The bugle call has announced the beginning of the investiture ceremony. The day is brought into being by an assurance of a brighter future as the new office bearers get ready to be invested.
The School s student council is led by Head Boy Navjot Singh and head girl Navneet Kaur. Here they come performing a smart crisp march past.
We would now invite our last year s head boy Ankit Makkar to move to the front for a hand over ceremony of the School s Flag.
The young leader is taking the mantle of responsibility.
Next is our Head girl Navneet Kaur
The bold music played by the band is instilling pride in marching students.
Up next is Shivalik House
They firmly believe that Every duty is holy and devotion to duty is the highest form of worship of God.
Mo. Yavar being conferred as Shivalik house captain
It is nothing less than a treat for the senses.
The most anxiously awaited moment has finally arrived-- the oath taking ceremony
I request Principal Sir to kindly sworn in the newly formed school cabinet.
(Oath taking ceremony)
It is indeed a defining moment for the entire senate.
I hope that these young leaders will uphold the values of the school and keep Sacred Hearts School s Flag flying high while discharging their duties honestly and impartially.
I can feel the turbulence around. The atmosphere is electrifying with anticipation.
Well! How different is this day; Dear audience, you will discover as the colors of cultural feast unfold before you. So without taking much of your time I would like to call upon Shamama and Priyanka to announce the next programme lined up for the day.

Oath Taking Ceremony Speech

Good morning fellow La Sallians! First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude towards Dean Josephine De La Cerna and Ms. Barbara Lim for giving me the chance to share my testimony before each and every one of you. Moreover, to my exquisite mother, Rose Marie Biron whose never-ending support fueled my passion and aspirations.

You might be wondering why I made this speech. I am not a topnotcher like Nadene and Argee. But I was asked by the aforementioned authorities to speak on behalf of those who self-reviewed and yet, was able to pass the board.

It seems nowadays that enrolling in a review center appears to be a necessity in our nursing career as confirmed by the fact that we even incorporated the Nursing Review in our curriculum. I am not saying that we don t need the review centers in fact in one way we do we need to REVIEW. Review in the sense that if you still remember Ms. Salvani s lecture, she would always tell us that research means to search again . In review, it entails us to view our lessons again and again and again and again until such time that the information will be embedded in our systems. We need to re-learn the things that we ve encountered. The overwhelming pathophysiologies that would often leave our noses bleeding, the basic (and seemingly unending) cycle of the Nursing Process, and also the seemingly infinite diseases along with their corresponding diagnostics, care plans, and remedies.

As I ventured in my nursing walk , I saw the need to preserve the things that I ve learned to continually go over it. I didn t study that I may get an excellent grade I had a deeper motivation. I studied and gave my 110% so that I may honor my God and my parents; I studied so that I can encourage my clinical instructors that their toils and sacrifices are all worth it and also to exhibit that I did learn from their lessons; and more so, I studied so that I may set the standard, not just to go along with it.

I wasn t feeling well when I took the board exam. The Influenza Virus had its way of showing me the signs and symptoms firsthand. But the miracle is, whenever I received my test paper, something inside me is being refreshed as if the virus is being sent into its hibernating mode. I was able to think clearly even peacefully and I was able to answer the questions. And that is how I conquered the NLE not by might or power, but by the grace of God, the prayers of my mother and my family, the help of my closest friends Jigs, Raisa, Robin, Mea, Christine Joy, Winny, Traci and the rest, and the preparatory measures that I took.

I am who I am because I was personally trained by my mentors in the core values of Leadership, Integrity, Faith in God, and Excellence. As I brought and cherished these principles, it helped me to conquer all the endeavors I faced.

In conclusion, we were all able to pass the board exam not because of the red garments we used (some believe that it can invoke luck ). We dominated the NLE because we were prepared for it! Our mentors taught us efficiently! That is why our success is theirs as well. And so I say that the recipe towards achieving success in every facet of life one of which is the NLE is to get discipline, be fueled with love, faith, hope, and perseverance, and to commit to God everything you do. Because after all, it will be His good, pleasing, and perfect will that shall and will always prevail in your life. Thank you! More power! To God be the glory! Animo La Salle!

Ladies and gentlemen,

I'd like to make a toast to all the new faces here. New faces that we do not know until now but would like to know. the
Same new
That belonged to us a year ago. The same new faces that, over a short period of time, will no longer be, "NEW" faces. But
Faces that are now for us, and yes "new" faces.
Well, I'm speaking on behalf of all sophomores here. Just a few lines of how we all feel right now. Here I go.
Novelty or novelty has been intriguing and fascinating to man since Neanderthal times. The novelty for us is emotion and
Exuberance, surprise and science, joy and joy, hope and happiness, audacity and buoyancy, positive and passion. But
Men as we all are, the novelty for us also means risk, ignorance, uncertainty, fear, doubt and disturbance.

In the same way, the ancients and the established ones are "familiar and comfortable," "knowing and therefore capable"
Mature and
Reliable "," robust and therefore reliable. "But all this goes with accusations of" stagnation and stagnation, "" outside
Date and
Deactualized "and" the slow and the perplexed. "

What I want to express with all the adjectives I used is that these new faces here, our juniors for next year
Represent us
Same hope and challenge as new players on a cricket team or new twists on a good story. And we, as older people, must
Ripped pile, lots of guys and girls that they could trust and depend on.
Together, we can make a great team. You, a new Ferrari and us, the sparkling black, Ford Model T.
So, I, on behalf of all the "old" faces here, welcome the new faces with open hands, open minds and above all, OPEN HEARTS.
