Agent Based Share Trading System

Introduction:

Aglets is a Java based mobile agent platform and library for building mobile agents based applications. An aglet is a Java agent which can autonomously and spontaneously move from one host to another carrying a piece of code with it. It can be programmed to execute at a remote host and show different behaviors at different hosts. Java based security implementations take care of authorized access to local resources at the remote hosts. Aglets is completely written in Java, thus allowing a high portability of both the agents and the platform. Aglets includes both a complete Java mobile agent platform, with a stand-alone server called Tahiti, and a library that allows developers to build mobile agents and to embed the Aglets technology in their applications.

Tahiti is an application program that runs as an agent server. You can run multiple servers (Tahiti) on a single computer by assigning them different port numbers. Tahiti provides a user interface for monitoring, creating, dispatching, and disposing of agents and for setting the agent access privileges for the agent server.

Here in the proposed application we have tried to make use of the agents that can be implemented for serving our purpose in the proposed system. Here we make use of them in the share market for obtaining the latest details and taking precise decisions.

Existing System:

In the current scenario the decisions for selling and buying the shares is done by experts in the field. In order for a person to do the trading he/she must use the help of these people. If they doesn't make use of these experts the chances that they expose themselves to failure is very high. So when they use they help of these experts the users will have to pay them a certain part of the profit. Now this can cause a decrement in the profit generated for the user. Also there are many cases where the users may loose huge amount of the investment due to the foul play of these middle men. Considering all these facts we have tried to create a system that will take decisions for their users with the best market rate base on certain rules and regulations.

Proposed System:

Tahiti is a desktop interface to manage running agents. All the agents are displayed in the list box in Tahiti. By selecting one of the list items, you can control the corresponding agent. Tahiti provides you the functions for handling agents and for controlling the server. Tahiti provides a user interface for monitoring, creating, dispatching, and disposing of agents and for setting the agent access privileges for the agent server.

Here in the proposed system we have tried to create a system that will help the people in the stock market for trading. The agents will be acting on behalf of the people in between and taking decisions for their users based on certain rules that will helpful for doing the trading with much less risk and high efficiency. For example we can create agents to look for the shares with least value for buying and highest for the bidding. The trading will be only possible if the decision will be acceptable by the two parties taking part in the deal.
