KiteGen is developed by Sequoia Automation(Italian Researcher: Massimo Ippolito) to meet the needs for rising global electricity consumption by based on a renewable source(high altitude wind farm ). KiteGen concept uses kites instead of propellers, theoretically producing as much energy as a nuclear power plant . The KiteGen improves upon inefficient windmill systems that use a single propeller to generate energy. Unlike static generators, the dynamic movements of the KiteGen s kites (instead of blade used Power Wing Profile kite) allow to use an autopilot-like system to adjust to wind conditions in order to achieve the highest possible speed, and therefore the greatest output.The efficiency of the system is so high , in fact, and can produce one gigawatt of power for just 1.5 euros per megawatt hour(cheap cost).. The problem of "capturing" the wind is solved by the use of Power kites whose movements are controlled automatically by a computer.
