Abstract
In today s era the most important and valuable
thing in the world is information. You can exploit a person
or organization if someone uses their secret information
against them. There are many ways to secure the data
from being misuse, one of them is cryptography.
Cryptography is the technique for coding the message so
that it cannot be understood. The next milestone is the
Steganography technique which took the security to whole
new level. Steganography refer to a technique where some
sort of content is hidden into similar or dissimilar format
by inserting the secret data within a cover media in such a
way that the unauthorized viewers do not get any idea of
any information hidden inside it. In such a contrast a lot of
algorithms have been used already which possess good
results.
INTRODUCTION
In the modern scenario, data security is one of the major
issues. After the Second World War, the need for a secure and
robust communication between the communicating parties has
been increased due to the fear of terrorism so it is necessary to
protect the information. Cryptography method is used to hide
secret data by scrambling so that it is unreadable, but this
method does not assure security and robustness as the hacker
can easily guess that there is a confidential message passing
on from the source to the destination [4]. Steganography is
known as covered writing and the idea of steganography is
hiding the existence of a message [2]. The cover carriers
includes (images, audio, video, text, or other digitally
representative code) which will hold the hidden information.
