INTRODUCTION
Chat Application project report attempts to attach the computers which are on the different locations within the network and by this project any user can send the message to the other without moving physically.
The communication among users is the need of every organization having more than one department within local network.
The software package Multiple Chat Application provides the platform to send message online and to send files to the users in the local networks and display the list of all online users, which are currently connected to chat server.
We have tried to make it more effective within the time constraints. This has been a small and sincere part of our side in helping users to be more efficient as well as effective with respect to exchange information.
OBJECTIVES.
If we looked few decades back, we will find that the communication system was very time consuming and costly due to the lack of technological skills.
With the technical advancements these problems were solved.
Information system and technologies have become a vital component and is reshaping the basics of business and organizations. Thus they constitute essential fields of study in business administration and management.
FEASIBILITY STUDY.
A feasibility study is a preliminary study that investigates the information needs of prospective works and determines the resource requirements, costs, benefits and feasibility of proposed project.
The goal of feasibility study is to evaluate systems and tools propose the most feasible and desirable system for development. The feasibility of the proposed system can be evaluated in terms of four major categories.
Organization Feasibility.
How well the proposed system supports the strategic objective of the organization.
Technical Feasibility.
Economic Feasibility.
Operational Feasibility.
ANALYSIS.
1. The objective was to generate user friendly communication software, which of course
should be capable to run in distributed environment.
2. The objective of the project can be achieved only by implementing some kind of client server mechanism.
3. Choice of the programming language varies as follows.
