Introduction
Wireless system have been developed in an evolutionary way,ie,generation by generation over the last 20 years.
1G system is of diminishing importance.
The dominant generation are 2G,2.5G with 3G coming into use.
Pilot research has been targeted to the next generation.
One feature of next generation is the heterogeneous communication environment.
