In this work we presented a rotary engine design which is capable of implementing the High Efficiency Hybrid Cycle. It is expected that this engine will demonstrate superior volumetric efficiency, as well as fuel efficiency across a broad range of loads. The result is an engine which may offer up to 57% peak efficiency & above 50% sustain efficiency across typical driving loads. The engine is currently being prototyped, with a functioning compressor already working.
