INTRODUCTION
Roof support is a major problem affecting safety and productivity in underground mines.
Introduction of mechanization also called for development of steel support that can be quickly installed. But problem with steel support is that it lifts up to 13 tons only. Because of this need was felt to introduce hydraulic roof support which can easily take wt. ranging from 40 ton- 60 ton & other important advantages that hydraulic support will be independent of type & quality of roof.
The aim of this project is
TO SAVE THE LIFE OF PEOPLE WHO WORKS INSIDE THE MINES AND GIVES MORE SECURITY TO THE WORK WHICH IS CARRIED OUT IN MINES.
