Abstract
BENETTON TRAVELS (ONLINE BUS TICKET RESERVATION SYSTEM)
(OBTRS), Which can be used for the all of the internet users. The Ticket Reservation . System is an Internet based application that can be accesses throughout the Net and can be accessed by anyone who has a net connection. This application will automate the reservation of tickets and Enquiries about availability of the tickets . This application includes email information for the tickets.
The system also provides a comprehensive mechanism of ticket booking for any travel agency BENETTON TRAVELS is designed to help wide range of travel agencies come together and provide service to the customer. BENETTON TRAVELS comprehensive functionality helps the agencies expand their horizons in the field of providing service to the customers.
Objective:
With the new system the following activities get more momentum.
1. The actual process of the organization can be modularized into three different independent views
User view
Visitor view
System administrators view
2. The User at any time can view the required information whether it is buses, or User at the click of a mouse and instance of a second.
3. Above all the overall system can at any time provide consistent and reliable information authenticated upon its operations.
4. The administrator he can View all the details of Employee,Users,Buses Information,
Company Information & Feedback Details.
5. In Visitor View he can Search for a Bus On particular Date & Time.
Hence Computerization of the existing system is proposed. The new system completely removes all manual burdens and provide efficient on the entry system.
Existing System:
Present system is manual. The Project Metrics has to enter all the details of project, documents, and tasks. It also maintenance the team information and also efforts estimation.
