Introduction to the Ayurvedic healing system
The Ayurvedic healing system has its origins in India and has been practiced for thousands of years. The final goal is perfect health, not just getting rid of illness.
The system uses careful application of natural healing methods like herbs, minerals, healthy nutrition, music, massage, exercise etc.
The Ayurvedic healing system as it is being conveyed in this training is not connected with a certain religion or organization. The main issue will be the concept of Tridosha as well as the body types of Vata, Kapha and Pitta.

Ayurvedic massages
Along with the introduction to Ayurveda by an Ayurvedic doctor you will mainly learn the important Marma Massage. This special massage works on energy spots and meridians, similar to acupuncture. Additionally you will be introduced to Shiro Dhara-massage and Pizhikilmassage.

Additional topics
Nutrition, preparation of a herbal medicine, introduction to pulse-diagnosis and Indian astrology.

Ayurvedic herbs
Along with massage, enhancing the overall quality of our way of living and healthy nutrition, the Ayurvedic herbs and medicines play an important role in the Ayurvedic health concept. Not a single herbal essence, but the plant as a complex system. A certified botanist will introduce you to the Ayurvedic botanical system.
