FPGA based noise cancellation algorithm

I have some knowhow on noise cancellation in the receiver of radar or other communication system. But I don't know how to implement using FPGA for better result.
Now aday some projects have been performed on this area.but I am not clear about the future scope and how I can improve the scopes stated. If an MTech project proposal has been posted in IEE, I realy seek to know.
