The concept of this project is to develop security system for airports with multiple levels of security for allowing any person to enter or exit the airport. The new technology which implementing is by the use of RFID tags. The use of RFID tags can aid the detection and identification of possible threats in diverse range of applications from passenger check-in at airports to detection of intruders. The main aim of this project is to improve airport efficiency and security through the active tracking of passengers and staff using RFID tags combined with wireless webcam. Initially some predefined data is written to the RFID card and software must be running continuously at the background in the microcontroller. The software will be continuously checking for the card. When the card is shown towards the reader, the reader sends an interrupt to microcontroller. When this interrupt is received by the software, it first reads the user id number which is already written to the card and compares it with details in the data base and allows the person in by opening the door if he is authorized. If the person was detected with metal in previous stage the door will not be open for him. In mean time the person is under video surveillance with the help of wireless camera. The output of wireless camera can be sent to pc by concerned officer
