In present scenario libraries information is maintained in manual records which his not efficient method. As software applications usage is increasing in our daily life developing applications like this will be easy task and saves lot of time. Using this system entire library data is maintained in database and just by using a software application users can find out the list of books that are available in the library with out searching entire library. Similarly this application also maintained details of users who had taken books and return date and details of the user.

This project is aimed at developing an online Library Management System (LiMS) for the college library. This is an Intranet based application that can be accessed throughout the campus. This system can be used to search for books/magazines, reserve books, find out who is having a particular book, put in requests to buy a new book etc.
