- According to company rules the potatoes purchased from the farm are passed through a quality test.
- The potatoes are passed through a conveyor where they are boned and then peeled.
- Peeled potatoes are washed with cold water.
- A slicer cuts the potatoes into thin slices. The slices are washed again in cold water to purge any starch content released.
- The slices are passed through a chemical solution to increase their color if necessary.
- The pieces are then fried and salted, and passed through a conveyor belt to drain excess oil. The chips are chilled and ordered.
