A Simple Telephone
Surprisingly, a telephone is one of the simplest devices you have in your house. It is so simple because the telephone connection to your house has not changed in nearly a century. If you have an antique phone from the 1920s, you could connect it to the wall jack in your house and it would work fine!

Sir,
I want to build a solar charger for a 48v lead-acid battery using the MPPT technology. Can you please suggest a way for the same? I have searched a lot on the internet but could not find a circuit for charging a 48v battery, instead i could only find one for a 12v. Is it the same? I would be thoroughly obliged if you could answer my question.

Introduction
In laboratory and experimental work, the source of energy electric is very important.
Most products in electronics require using the current and voltage source. I propose to develop a programmable power supply as my senior project. The requirement I propose for this project is that the programmable power supply will provide the user an output voltage from one to fifteen volts at a current level up to 1 amp.

Abstract
This paper presents a simplified sinusoidal uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system. The proposed scheme includes features such as high power factor, low total harmonic distortion and good dynamic response at the ac output voltage. In addition, the scheme has the desirable characteristics of high efficiency, simple circuit and low cost compared with a traditional standalone multiple stages UPS with power factor correction. simple power supply resumption alarm pdf
The circuit of power resumption alarm shown here is very simple, where IC1 is wired in a special kind of mode. When power supply resumes, pin 2 of IC1 is grounded through C1 and pin 3 goes high. This makes reset pin 4 to go high for about 10 seconds. When the capacitor C1 charges to two-third of the supply voltage, output of IC1 goes low, grounding the reset pin 4 and thus disabling the entire circuit.
The alarm circuit is wired around a second timer IC, IC2. Here it is used as an astable multivibrator ....etc

Tivadar Pusk s, inventor of the telephone exchange.
Exchange in Miskolc, Hungary
Prior to the telephone, electrical switches were used to switch telegraph lines. One of the first people to build a telephone exchange was Hungarian Tivadar Pusk s in 1877 while he was working for Thomas Edison. George W. Coy designed and built the first commercial telephone exchange which opened in New Haven, Connecticut in January, 1878. The switchboard was built from carriage bolts, ....etc
