Abstract
The subjects of virtual machines and emulators have been treated as entirely separate. The purpose of this seminar is to show they have much in common. Only the usual implementations have many shared characteristics, but this extends to the theoretical concepts on which they are based; the concepts of memory mapping and I/O operation simulation are discussed to emphasize this. This project Digital gated Emulator using Microcontroller is used to emulate the basic gates such as NOT, OR, AND, NAND, NOR. The system has the selector switch by which we can select any gate. The system has two inputs and one output. We use two SPDT switches for the inputs and for the output we use an LED. The gate selection can be done by the selector switch and it is also indicated on separate LEDs. There are three LEDs provided on the board for the gates NOT, OR, AND, NAND, NOR.
