This report presents the results of an independent evaluation of the Automotive Collision Avoidance System (ACAS). The ACAS integrates forward collision warning (FCW) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) functions for light-vehicle applications. The Dynamic Speed Controller is a system that can be effectively implemented for an efficient and perfectly controlled traffic system. This system may limit the speed of a moving vehicle over an area where the speed has to be restricted and retained within a predetermined value. The dynamic speed controller consists mainly of two parts, the transmitter section and the receiver section.
