Abstract
In computer science, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is a computational method that optimizes a problem by iteratively trying to improve a candidate solution with regard to a given measure of quality. PSO optimizes a problem by having a population of candidate solutions, here dubbedparticles, and moving these particles around in the search-space according to simple mathematical formulae over the particle's position and velocity. i want to use aco algorithm for vanet broadcasting . basically i don't have much knowledge about aco algorithm . so i request you sir to give me some guidelines to use aco algorithm , particularly to avoid broadcast storm problem in vanet.

Dear Madam/Sir,
My project topic is Optimization Of AODV routing protocol in manet using Ant Colony Optimization.
I want to implement it in MATLAB. but donot get any clue, how can i compare Aodv's throughput or other characteristics of AODV with using ACO and without using ACO.
I am trying to implement AODV code first.. but it did not plot any graph.. can you suggest me how can i compare prevoius problem by plotting graph.

This paper presents Random Early Detection (RED) gateways
for congestion avoidance in packet-switched networks.
The gateway detects incipient congestion by computing
the average queue size. The gateway could notify
connections of congestion either by dropping packets arriving
at the gateway or by setting a bit in packet headers.
When the average queue size exceeds a preset threshold,
the gateway drops or marks each arriving packet with a
certain probability, where the exact probability is a function
of the average queue size.
