Title: Light Field Morphing Using 2D Features

Abstract :
We present a 2D feature-based technique formorphing 3D objects represented by light fields. Existing light field morphing methods require the user to specify corresponding 3D feature elements to guide morph computation. Since slight errors in 3D specification can lead to significant morphing artifacts, we propose a scheme based on 2D feature elements that is less sensitive to imprecise marking of features. First, 2D features are specified by the user in a number of key views in the source and target lig ....etc

AMOEBA a study of distributed system

what is Amoeba

It is distributed operating system which collects a huge variety of single machines connected over a network to one ,huge computer.
It is developed at Vrije University in amsterdamby Andrew S. Tannenbum.
AMOEBA system will connect the multiple AMOEBA systems in different sites into single coherent system.
This goal is obtained by using objects and their capabilities in uniform ways

Introducing the concept of AMOEBA ORGANIZATION based on adaptability, which is the key to business success of modern days; but many organizations are too rigidly organized to adapt to constant change & seize new opportunities. Modern day organizations are lengthening their life span by reshaping internal systems for flexibility, modernizing their cultures & monitoring the ever-changing environments in which they operate. ....etc

advantages and disadvantages of amoeba

1.Avoid warm, shallow and stagnate waters, especially when the water temperature is 80 degrees or more. Don't let your children swim in the back coves during the heat of summer.

2.Don't dunk your head in water. The only way the amoeba is a threat is if it gets to your brain, via your nose. While it may not be possible to keep your head out of the water at all times, keep it out of the water if you are cooling off in a back cove.

3.Resist the temptation to splash. Splashing is fun in the summer, just ....etc

ABSTRACT

The development of high speed LANs and cheap powerful microprocessors has lead to the creation of computing systems composed of large no. of CPUs connected by a high-speed LAN. These are called Distributed Systems. The most important features of distributed systems are that it offers better price/performance, higher computing power (speed), higher fault tolerance, improved scalability, data and device sharing and better distribution of load. An OS which manages a distributed system is called a distrib ....etc

ADAPTIVE ESTIMATION OF THE QRS COMPLEX WAVE FEATURES OF THE ECG SIGNAL BY THE HERMITE MODEL

INTRODUCTION

The Electrocardiographic signal ECG represents the electrical activity of the heart recorded on the
body surface
The analysis of this signal is the most common way to study and diagnose cardiac
dysfunctions
The ECG signal is characterized by its recurrent or periodic behavior with each beat
Each
recurrence is composed of a wave sequence P QRS complex and T waves ....etc
