A girder is a support beam used in construction.It is the main horizontal support of a structure which supports smaller beams. Girders often have an I-beam cross section composed of two load-bearing flanges separated by a stabilizing web, but may also have a box shape, Z shape and other forms. A girder is commonly used many times in the building of bridges.

In traditional timber framing a girder is called a girt.

Base64 uses a 65 character subset of US-ASCII, allowing 6 bits for each character so the character m with a Base64 value of 38, when represented in binary form, is 100110. When a text string, let's say mne is encoded this is what happens : The text string is converted into its US-ASCII value. (In US-ASCII each character is assigned a value)

This is a very attractive design to include in your railroad. It follows a construction style similar to our Pony Truss bridge. However, it has a clear difference that gives it a character of its own and will add more interest and variety to its line.
