Abstract:
All aluminum alloy conductors (AAC) are made of high-strength aluminum-magnesium-alloy silicon. These conductors are designed to provide a better resistance to weight ratio and offer improved electrical properties, excellent shear stress characteristics and superior corrosion resistance

Characteristics
High resistance to weight ratio
Better sinking characteristics
Improved electrical properties
Excellent corrosion resistance

Methods of Aluminum Welding

Aluminum Welding Techniques

MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas)- supplies power to wire fed through the center of gas cone, heat and filler are the same.
TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) or Heliarc seperates the heat source from the filler material.

MIG Welding

Shield gas is 100% Argon
Faster than regular steel MIG welding, due to the higher thermal conductivity
Material must be very clean for effective weld
Good for long runs and heavy material

SYNOPSIS

Aluminum auto body sheets produce appreciable amounts of slivers during trimming operations when trimmed with dies conventionally designed for steel sheets. The slivers can be carried through downstream processes and cause damage to the surface of formed parts resulting in costly manual repair. T ....etc

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminium electrolytic capacitors are widely used in power supply circuitry of electronic equipment as there after several advantages over other types of capacitances. The selection of a capacitor for an application without knowing the basics may result in unreliable performance of the equipment due to expanitor problems. It may lead to customer dissatisfaction and damage market to potential or the image of a reputed company. The aluminium eletrolytic capacitors are suitable to be used when a great capacitanc ....etc

Abstract
Conditions were determined for consistent coupling of a CO2 laser beam to weld 5182 aluminum
alloy sheet. Full penetration butt and bead-on-plate welds on 0.8 and 1.8 mm sheets were
performed. Process conditions examined included beam mode, spot size and irradiance,
shielding gas flow, and edge quality and fitup. The observed weld quality variations with the
different process parameters were consistent with physical phenomena and a threshold irradiance
model. Optimal conditions were determined for obtaining consistent weld ....etc

Welding of dissimilar metals
Abstract:
There are many applications where welding constructions are produced from materials of different structures. the same applies to mechanical problems of wear, in a situation of high temperature or other conditions in which different properties required from different parts of the same weld.

This leads to the necessity of connection of dissimilar metals. Between a successful weld dissimilar metals is one that is as strong as the weaker of the two metals being joined, i.e. with sufficient tensile strength an ....etc
