The technique described in this paper attempts to use the Advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD) to detect and understand tension points in the knee, hip and shoulder joints and to assist in the manufacture of artificial joints And Members

This system takes input and computed tomography, which is then fed into CAD by means of an external reference. What is now in the CAD is a two-dimensional representation of the joint. The next step is to feed the data into a Solid Modeling Software to obtain a three-dimensional representation of the joint. O ....etc

STEM CELLS

Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth. In addition, in many tissues they serve as a sort of internal repair system, dividing essentially without limit to replenish other cells as long as the person or animal is still alive. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential either to remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a ....etc

LVDT

What Is An LVDT ?

The letters LVDT are an acronym for Linear Variable Differential Transformer, a common type of electro mechanically transducer that can convert the rectilinear motion of an object to which it is coupled mechanically into a corresponding electrical signal. LVDT linear position sensors are readily available that can measure movements as small as a few millionths of an inch up to several inches, but are also capable of measuring positions up to + - 20 inch ....etc
