Abstract

All modern vehicles today include an Engine Control Unit (ECU). This unit is responsible for the co-ordination of all sub systems of the vehicle such as the anti locking breaking system (ABS) and the fuel ignition system. The ECU reads sensor values from various parts of the engine and depending on these values it performs the appropriate actions. For example, if the air intake is low, the fuel input is increased to compensate. If errors occur in the engine man ....etc
