RCC walls could be made either for retaining purpose for forces from other sides like soil, water etc. OR RCC walls could be made for partition purpose. But becomes a cost affair as compare to bricks. So you will find this generally in Chemotherapy room of the hospitals. And shear walls are generally made in RCC only.
