The project entitled Route tracking system has been designed to ,track the path through which the message or data packets passes through the various routers. A visual display ,of the traced path is given on a world map. It also helps to locate faulty routers on the network. It is developed using VC++ as the front end and MS ACCESS as back end. Existing system does not give a visual display of routers through which data packets passes. Also, it does not provide the complete details of the routers. Moreover, it is time consuming.
