Abstract

A microstrip fractal antenna has been introduced in the following paper. The iterations of hexagons are placed over one another in such a way that they do not overlap and each and every hexagon is clearly visible. The presented antenna has been fed with 50 probe. The antenna operates at a frequency of 0.6 GHz giving the input return loss of about -13.5 dB. The performance of the antenna has been evaluated using HFSS, V12, from Ansoft. The resulting antenna has a ground plane side each of 7cm. The antenna can find wide variety of appl ....etc

The most important development in the computer communications industry in the 1990s is the evolution of the integrated services digital network (ISDN) and broadband ISDN (B-ISDN). The ISDN and B-ISDN have had a dramatic impact on the planning and deployment of intelligent digital networks providing integrated services for voice, data and video. Further, the work on the ISDN and B-ISDN standards has led to the development of two major new networking technologies; frame relay and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM). Frame relay and ATM have become t ....etc

Abstract
This paper present the design of an S-band circular microstrip patch antenna using a conventional coaxial probe feed technique. The antenna is designed to function within the frequency range of 2.0 GHz - 2.5 GHz, S-band. The antenna exhibited a return loss of -16dB and a directivity of 6.07dB. The microstrip patch antenna is designed on FR4 epoxy substrate and is to be feed with a 50 coaxial cable. The design of the antenna is done using MATLAB software and SonnetLite software for the electromagnetic simula ....etc

ppt on microstrip patch antenna using hfss

The microstrip patch antenna is a popular printed resonant antenna for narrow-band microwave wireless links that require semi-hemispherical coverage. Due to its planar configuration and ease of integration with microstrip technology, the microstrip patch antenna has been heavily studied and is often used as elements for an array. In this tutorial, a 2.4 GHz microstrip patch antenna fed by a microstrip line on a 2.2 permittivity substrate is studied. The following topics are covered:

Model Setup
Wav ....etc

Abstract

An integrated photonic microwave bandpass filter has been demonstrated incorporating a coherently coupled microring resonator in low-loss polymers. The resonator was designed to have an extremely small bandwidth so that it could be used to selectively pass the optical signal carrying the microwave signal to attain efficient bandpass filtering. The demonstrated device may feature compact size, simple structure, stable operation, possible tuning via the thermooptic effect, and furthermore flexible integration with other electrical/opt ....etc

Abstract
The aliasing signal interferes with the actual signal and resembles more-like the original intermediate signal. This is called image frequency. To eliminate this image frequency a filter is to be designed in the RF (Radio Front) stage. At S-band microwave frequency (2 GHz to 4 GHz), the lumped components cannot be used due to distributed effects. Also, for the compactness of the filter, the distributed components are being used in microwave frequencies. Hence the coupled stage of microstrip filter with go ....etc

Introduction to Filter
A filter is a network that provides perfect transmission for signal with frequencies in certain passband region and infinite attenuation in the stopband regions. Such ideal characteristics cannot be attained, and the goal of filter design is to approximate the ideal requirements to within an acceptable tolerance. Filters are used in all frequency ranges and are categorized into three main groups:
Low-pass filter (LPF) that transmit all signals between DC and som ....etc
