Anchoring script?

I don't think that their really is a best anchoring script someone would have. However, I'd think that these would be the elements a good anchoring script would have:

Introduce yourself humorously. Perhaps through an incident where you interacted with your seniors, say how you were ragged.
Keep the humor going, fill in with jokes about farewell and leaving.
Modulate your voice. This isn't really a part of the script, but take your voice to a higher tone when announcing something exciting.
Avoid using big words. Keep i ....etc

Good titles or awards for a farewell party should be light-hearted, funny, and should not be at all distastful. Unless the recipient is absolutely, 100 per cent guaranteed to understand that their title is joke, you should avoid jokey titles if they could be misconstrued as offensive or hurtful. After all, this is their farewell party, and your seniors are there to have a great evening, and to bring their time as a senior to a fitting close - you don't want to ruin it by coming up with titles that are a little bit too tongue-in-cheek.

About my experience on School Farewell

Today I am reminded of my school farewell party by a young friend of mine. This time of the year, when the session is on the winding up routine, students are busy in preparing for their exams, something is still holding us back. Something that is so heavy that when ever we are reminded of it, we are sure to get tears in our eyes; and that is the feeling of separation from our school/college friends.
