A New Bit-Allocation Scheme for Coding of Digital Audio Using Psychoacoustic Modeling
Abstract:
In this paper we present a modified adaptive bit-allocation scheme for coding of audio signals using psychoacoustic modeling. Statistical redundancy reduction (lossless coding) generally gives compression ratios up to 2. We increase this ratio using perceptual irrelevancy removal (lossy coding). In this work MPEG-1 Layer-1 standard for psychoacoustic modeling is used and compression is improved by modifying the bit-allocation ....etc

Abstract
The project had two phases. The first phase consisted of design and implementation of an encoder for vehicle destruction commands, using the technique of convolutional encoding. The second phase was a detailed study of turbo coding , the recent addition to vast arena of coding techniques.

Abstract
This paper presents a sufficiently low bit rate Hi-Fi
audio coding technique with low computation designed
for transmitting real-time high-quality audio signal over
wireless channel. This technique applies wavelet packet
transform to decompose audio signal into subbands to
eliminate redundant data using spectral and temporal
masking properties. The encoded audio data is framed
