Answer:.Inter-query parallelism results from the ability to execute multiple queries at the same time while intra-query parallelism is achieved by breaking up a single query into a number of subqueries each of which is executed at a different site, accessing a different part of the distributed database.
If the user access to the distributed database consisted only of querying (i.e.,

Inter-query Parallelism
It is a form of parallelism where many different Queries or Transactions are executed in parallel with one another on many processors.
Advantages
It increases Transaction Throughput. That is, number of transactions executed in a given time can be increased.
It scales up the Transaction processing system. Hence, best suited for On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems.

The proposed Fast Intra-Network and Cross-layer Handover (FINCH) supports support fast and efficient handovers in mobile WiMAX. The FINCH is actually a complementary protocol to Mobile IP.
