The Licensed Engineers and Supervisors Federation (LENSFED) has voiced concern over the recent modifications introduced by the State government to panchayat building rules.

At a press meet here on Monday, LENSFED district committee office-bearers said the new rules, in the long run, would scuttle infrastructural development of villages, besides helping the land mafia carry out unrestricted construction activities and land deals in benami names in the villages.
