Introduction

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multicarrier modulation system. The transmission channel is divided into a number of subchannel in which each subchannel is assigned a subcarrier. Conventional OFDM systems use IFFT and FFT algorithms at the transmitter and receiver respectively to multiplex the signals and transmit them simultaneously over a number of subcarriers. The system employs guard intervals or cyclic prefixes (CP) so that the delay spread of the channel becomes longer than the channel impulse response ....etc

matlab code for speech recognition using wavelet transform

Speech Recognition Using Wavelet Transform is a good MATLAB based Electronics Project for Engineering Students and tells about the Speech Recognition. Spoken language is converted to text in Automatic speech recognition (ASR). Speech recognition is currently used in many real-time applications, such as cellular telephones, computers, and security systems. Speech recognizers consist of a feature extraction stage and a classification stage. You can also Subscribe to FINAL YEAR PROJECT'S ....etc

matlab code for super resolution of an image using discrete wavelet transform

Abstract

Super resolution is very useful and interesting area of research in image processing applications based on wavelet transform. Many algorithms have been developed by researchers based on Projection Onto Convex Set (POCS), Maximum-aposteriori (MAP) and Maximum Likelihood (ML). In this paper, we propose super resolution algorithm based on Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Single frame super resolution can be achieved by u ....etc

Abstract

The paper deals with the use of wavelet transform for signal and image de-noising employing a selected method of thresholding of appropriate decomposition coefficients. The proposed technique is based upon the analysis of wavelet transform and it includes description of global modification of its values. The whole method is verified for simulated signals and applied for processing of biomedical signals representing EEG signals and MR images corrupted by additional random noise. ....etc
