Introduction
Steganography is the art and science of writing secret data in such a way that no one, except the sender and intended recipient, knows of the existence of the data. The information-hiding process in a steganographic system starts by identifying a cover medium s redundant bits those that can be modified without destroying that medium s integrity. Contourlets form a multiresolution directional tight frame designed to efficiently approximate images made of smooth regions separated by smooth boundaries.
