peripheral neuropathy

INTRODUCTION

About 65% of the people with diabetes mellitus are suffering from peripheral neuropathy which leaves them with partial or no feeling in their limbs. They often bump or scrape these limbs unknowingly, which leads to infection and possible amputation. Our design project focuses on the area of biomedical engineering which will detect trauma to a portion of the body where feeling has been lost. The product will detect the intense c ....etc

In the development of packaging of electronics the aim is to lower cost, increase the packaging density, and improve the performance while still maintaining or even improving the reliability of the circuits. Flip chip microelectronic assembly is the direct electrical connection of face-down electronic components onto substrates, circuit boards, or carriers, by means of conductive bumps on the chip bond pads since the chip is directly attached to the substrate, board, or carrier by the conductive bumps. Flip chip has advantage in size, performan ....etc

An emotion recognition system on the basis of physiological signals is presented in this paper. electroencephalographic signals of the brain (EEG) and peripheral physiological signals is passe through a multimodal fusion process. three specific areas of valance-arousal emotional space is used. The acquisition protocol used here is based on a subset of pictures which correspond to this arousal emotional space. Preprocessing and feature extraction methods are so optimised so that emotion-specific characteristics can be extracted from input signa ....etc

Electronics without silicon is unbelievable, but it will come true with the evolution of Diamond or Carbon chip. Now a day we are using silicon for the manufacturing of Electronic Chip's. It has many disadvantages when it is used in power electronic applications, such as bulk in size, slow operating speed etc. Carbon, Silicon and Germanium are belonging to the same group in the periodic table. They have four valance electrons in their outer shell. Pure Silicon and Germanium are semiconductors in normal temperature. So in the earlier days they a ....etc

CompactPCI
A CompactPCI (cPCI) system is a 3U or 6U Eurocard-based industrial computer, where all boards are connected via a passive PCI backplane. The PICMG (PCI Industrial Computers Manufacturers Group) US and PICMG Europe organizations have standardised the connector pin assignments . The connectors and the electrical rules allow for 8 boards in a PCI segment. Multiple segments are allowed with bridges.Hot-plugging is a supported feature of CompactPCI.
Unlike the original Eurocard solutions such as VME, which use connectors with a ....etc

Abstract
Compact peripheral component interconnect (CPCI) is an adaptation of the peripheral component interconnect (PCI) specification for industrial computer applications requiring a smaller, more robust mechanical form factor than the one defined for the desktop. CompactPCI is an open standard supported by the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturer s Group (PICMG). CompactPCI is best suited for small, high-speed industrial computing applications where transfers occur between a number of high-speed cards.
CompactPCI is a ....etc

Abstract
Peripheral nerve injuries are common, and there is no easily available formula for successful treatment.
Incomplete injuries are most frequent. Seddon classified nerve injuries into three categories:
neurapraxia, axonotmesis, and neurotmesis. After complete axonal transection, the neuron undergoes a
number of degenerative processes, followed by at ....etc
