In today s secure world biometric safety is on the top. Unlike other techniques which make use of passwords and numbers, that are needed to be remembered, biometric techniques make use of human body parts like fingerprints or even iris of your eyes and as we know that these things are unique to all thus it makes biometric systems the most effective over others. This circuit was build to control charging/discharging of a solar powered battery. A 12F675 monitors the battery voltage through an ADC channel and connects/disconnects solar panel and the load to avoid over charging and over discharging the battery.

An LED connected to the micro controller indicates the state of the battery. When the battery is fully charged (>13v) it blinks in long pulses (2s) and the solar panel is disconnected. When the battery is charging i.e. 12.3v to 13v short pulses about 200ms in each 2s. When the voltage drops belo ....etc

accuracy as it is automatic. It uses
Real Time Clock(DS1307) which track
the real time . The microcontroller
P89V51RD2 is used to control all the
functions through program. When
this programmed time equals the
real time then the bell is switched
ON via Relay for predetermined time
at normal class timings as well as
exam times.
