There are potential technologies like WLAN fingerprinting, RFID positioning, and indoor positioning with GPS.But it has always been a challenge to get satisfactory results. AGPS is being used since many years in cellular system. By using the assisted GPS technology in mobile network, its possible to get a more accurate fix with better yield and TTF(time to fix).
