Stir casting is an economical process for the fabrication of aluminum matrix composites. There are many parameters in this process, which affect the final microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites. In this study, micron-sized SiC particles were used as reinforcement to fabricate Al-3 wt% SiC composites at two casting temperatures (680 and 850 C) and stirring periods (2 and 6 min). Factors of reaction at matrix/ceramic interface, porosity, ceramic incorporation, and agglomeration of the particles were evaluated by scanning elec ....etc

Introduction
Agitated friction welding (FSW) is a solid state bonding process that uses a non-consumable tool to join two work pieces that face without melting the workpiece material. The heat is generated by friction between the rotating tool and the workpiece material, which leads to a smoothed region near the FSW tool. While the tool is traversed along the joining line, it mechanically intermixes the two pieces of metal, and forges the hot and smoothed metal by the mechanical pressure, which is applied by the tool, as well as joini ....etc

Conventional stir casting process has been employed for producing discontinuous particle reinforced metal matrix
composites for decades. The major problem of this process is to obtain sufficient wetting of particle by liquid metal and
to get a homogenous dispersion of the ceramic particles. In the present study, aluminium metal matrix composites were
fabricated by different processing temperatures with different holding time to understand the influence of process parameters

I wish mechanical properties and micro structure of Aluminium-Copper and SiC metal matrix composites produced by stir casting technique. In which compositions is 3.5-5 %Copper, 5% SiC and rest aluminium.

Also I commercial series name of aluminium alloy in which 3.5-5% copper is there. ....etc
