Abstract In this paper, we propose a new class of graphs called generalized recursive circulant graphs which is an extension of recursive circulant graphs. While retaining attractive properties of recursive circulant graphs, the new class of graphs achieve more flexibility in varying the number of vertices. Some network properties of recursive circulant graphs, like degree, connectivity and diameter, are adapted to the new graph class with more concise expression. In particular, we use a multidimensional vertex labeling scheme in generalized r ....etc

ABSTRACT:

To combat the performance deterioration brought by the time-varying propagation conditions and multiuser / intersymbol interference in the CDMA system, this paper proposes a novel means of adaptive equalizer based on QR Decomposition-based Recursive LeastSquare (QRD-RLS) algorithm to replace the conventional RAKE ....etc

Clustering technique-based least square support vector machine for EEG signal classification

Introduction

The electroencephalogram (EEG) signal is a measure of the
summed activity of approximately 100 millions of neurons
lying in the vicinity of the recording electrodes . It may provide
insight into the functional structure and dynamics of the
brain . Basically the EEG is complex and aperiodic time
series containing information of the electrical activity generated
by cerebral cortex n ....etc

LEAST MEAN SQUARE ALGORITHM

Introduction
The Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm, introduced by Widrow and Hoff in 1959 is an adaptive algorithm, which uses a gradient-based method of steepest decent . LMS algorithm uses the estimates of the gradient vector from the available data. LMS incorporates an iterative procedure that makes successive corrections to the weight vector in the direction of the negative of the gradient vector which eventually leads to ....etc

Abstract
This paper presents the simulation of a communications
system which contains an adaptive
filter. The filter is introduced in order to compensate
for the channel effects, thus emulating
a channel adaptive equalizer. At the discretion
of the user, various system parameters can be
changed. The simulation results can be postprocessed,
as a hardcopy is created and passed
to the MATLAB workspace.
1 Introduction
Adaptive filters can be integrated in systems with different
functionalities, being prediction, system ide ....etc

THE ADAPTIVE EQUALIZER
ABSTRACT:
Non line-of-sight systems such as mobile communications are severely affected by the multi-path effect.
In non line-of-sight communication, there is no direct path for the signal from the Transmitter to Receiver. This results in signal undergoing multiple reflections, diffractions, scattering before reaching the receiver. As a result, multiple copies of the same signal arrive at the receiver at successive time intervals.
This multi-path propagation distorts the signal reception by introdu ....etc

An Affine Combination of two LMS adaptive filters transient mean square analysis

Abstract:
The design of many adaptive filters requires a tradeoff between convergence speed and steady-state mean-square error (MSE). A faster (slower) convergence speed yields a larger (smaller) steady-state mean-square deviation (MSD) and MSE. This property is usually independent of the type of adaptive algorithm, i.e., least mean-square (LMS), normalized least
Mean-square (NLMS), recursive least squares (RLS), or affine projection (AP).
This design tradeo ....etc
