This paper presents design and analysis of a three phase induction motor drive using IGBT s at the inverter power stage with volts hertz control (V/F) in closed loop using a microcontroller. A 1HP, 3-phase, 415V, 50Hz induction motor is used as load for the inverter. Oscilloscope is used to record and analyze the various waveforms.
