Abstract

This study presents an experimental study on self-compacting concrete (SCC) with two cement content. The work involves three types of mixes, the first consisted of different percentages of fly ash (FA), the second uses different percentages of silica fume (SF), and the third uses a mixture of FA and SF. After each mix preparation, nine cylinder specimens are cast and cured. Compressed at 28 MPa (272 atm) and cured for 24 hours in a 66 C steam bath, then toughened with an air entrainment agent, the bricks last for more than 100 freeze-thaw cycles.
