Abstract
Differential Evolution Algorithm is discussed. The design of a linear phase FIR Filter using DIFFERENTIAL EVOLUTION Algorithm is proposed. The frequency response of the designed LOW PASS FIR filter using Differential Evolution for different population and iterations are realized and compared. The best obtained filter can be used as a pulse-shaping filter in QPSK.
