ABSTRACT
PON-based access networks envisage the demonstration of scalability to allow gradual deployment of time and
wavelength multiplexed architectures in a single-platform without changes in fibre infrastructure and also
highly-efficient bandwidth allocation for service provision and upgrade on-demand. This is achieved by the
application of coarse-fine grooming to route reflective-ONUs of time and wavelength PONs collectively and the
development of MAC protocols enabling the OLT to dynamically assign available time slots among ON ....etc

Digitally Modulated Carrier Amplitude

When measuring the amplitude of a digitally modulated carrier, make certain you are measuring its average power level

Use test equipment that performs automated measurements, rather than trying to make error-prone manual measurements that require bandwidth, IF filter, log amplifier and detection corrections

Abstract
This work proposes a simple and cost effective local access WDM-PON architecture that combines the salient features of both traditional static WDM-PON (i.e., dedicated connectivity to all subscribers with bit rate and protocol transparencies, guaranteed QoS, and increased security) and dynamic WDM-PON (i.e., efficiently utilizing network resources via dynamic wavelength allocation/sharing among end-users) ....etc

Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM)

Introduction
In a WDM system, each of the wavelengths is launched into the fiber, and the signals are demultiplexed at the receiving end. Like TDM, the resulting capacity is an aggregate of the input signals, but WDM carries each input signal independently of the others. This means that each channel has its own dedicated bandwidth; all signals arrive at the same time, rather than being broken up and carried in time slots. The difference between WDM and dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is f ....etc

Here is my feedback using Universe LLC Division of labor Universe LLC says they have a trained group of English speaking aides that are assigned to be especially good at specific tasks. Scales very well Unlimited tasks for $59 a month. They have other plans for businesses and groups who need dedicated, 6 day a week aides that I did not try out but it s available as an option. For businesses and groups (or I guess an individual, if you really need this much help), a dedicated aide available 9 hours a day, 6 days a week, costs $950 per mont ....etc

Switching and Traffic Grooming in WDM Networks at java

Abstract: We consider the role of switching in minimizing the number of electronic ports (e.g., SONET ADMs) in an optical network that carries sub-wavelength traffic. Providing nodes with the ability to switch traffic between wavelengths, such as through the use of SONET cross-connects, can reduce the required number of electronic ports. We show that only small switches distributed among the nodes in the ring are needed for significant reductions in the number of ports. We charac ....etc

Shared Memory Architecture
Shared Memory Architecture (SMA) refers to a design where the graphics chip does not have its own dedicated memory, and instead shares the main system RAM with the CPU and other components. Many integrated graphics solutions use this technology to reduce cost and to reduce the complexity of the motherboard design. The design is simplified as no additional memory chips are to be placed on the motherboard. Changing the the BIOS or a jumper setting is used to change the amount of memory allocated this way. In th ....etc
