Support for Host Anycast, Priorities and Naming of Link Local Addresses in IPv6

Growth of the Internet raised issues that were not envisaged during design of its underlying protocol. Internet Protocol version 4 is faced with the twin problems of lack of scalability and flexibility. Efforts are ongoing in the design of next generation Internet Protocol (Ipv6) that overcomes these drawbacks and provides future safe extensions. The base protocol and various supporting protocols have been standardized.

Additionally various issues are b ....etc

ns2 simulation code for shortest path routing

When to use Shortest Path routing?
An algorithm that is designed essentially to find a path of minimum length between two specified vertices of a connected weighted graph
Architecture-of-Shortest-Path-Routing
General procedure to find out shortest path:
Initialize the array smallestWeight so that smallestWeight = weights.
Set smallestWeight = 0.
Find the vertex, v, that is closest to vertex for which the shortest path has not been determined.
Mark v as the (next) vertex for wh ....etc

ABSTRACT

The complete network of large number of interconnected autonomous system, each of which consists of a distinct domain, needs to communicate to different nodes to forward the information. There are various means of communications between these systems. Routing is one of them. Routing refers to the overall network wide process that determines end to end paths that datagram will take from source to destinations. There are different routing algorithms available such as BELLMAN FORD ALGORITHM which is decentralized routing algorithm and ....etc

Abstract

Mobile ad hoc networks are typically characterized by high mobility and frequent page link failures that result in low throughput and high end-to-end delay. To reduce the number of route discoveries due to such broken paths, multipath routing can be utilized so that alternate paths are available. Current approaches to multipath routing make use of pre-computed routes determinedduring route discovery. These solutions, however, suffer during high mobility because the alternate paths are not actively maintained. Hence, precisely when nee ....etc
