The Water Level Indicator employs a simple mechanism to detect and indicate the water level in an overhead tank or any other water container.

one described here is
built around timer NE555 and
inverter buffer CMOS IC CD4049.
It uses readily-available, low-cost

WORKING PRINCIPLE:



Attach length copper wire to one stick and make two points (top and bottom) on other stick with copper wire; and mark them point A, B, C as shown in the diagram. Connect points A, B and C to the main circuit. The IC 555is used in the circuit as an astable multivibrator. The IC is an 8pin duel-in-line IC.
