A Self-Repairing Tree Topology Enabling Content-Based Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Aim:

The mainstay of this project is to achieve the repair strategies to tolerate the frequent topological reconfigurations in Mobile AdHoc Networks by Content Based Routing (CBR) using a protocol namely COMAN.

CONTENT BASED ROUTING (CBR)
differs from classical routing in that messages are addressed based on their content instead of their destination. In conventional systems, the sender explicitly specifies the intended message recipient ....etc

Scalable Wireless Ad-Hoc Network Simulation using XTC

Project Pre requisitions:-
The XTC ad-hoc network topology control algorithm shows three main advantages over previously proposed algorithms. First, it is extremely simple. Second, it does not assume the network graph to be a Unit Disk Graph; XTC proves correct also on general weighted network graphs. Third, the algorithm does not require availability of node position information. Instead, XTC operates with a general notion of order over the neighbors page link qu ....etc

XTC: A Practical Topology Control Algorithm for Ad-Hoc Networks
Abstract: The XTC AD-HOC network topology control algorithm introduced shows three main advantages over previously proposed algorithms. First, it is extremely simple and strictly local. Second, it does not assume the network graph to be a unit disk graph; XTC proves correct also on general weighted network graphs. Third, the algorithm does not require availability of node position information. Instead, XTC operates with a general notion of order over the neighbors' page link quali ....etc

hi sir
I am doing MCA. this semister i want ot implement Scalable Wireless Ad-Hoc Network Simulation using XTC this algorithm using java so i need full information about this project. how to start my project. this is my first project in Network .
so you have to help me sir. If it is possible send me snapshot of this project .
even i dont know how this project will look like in design phase.
as soon as possible send me the solution . I am waiting for message. ....etc

With fully directional communications, nodes must track the positions of their neighbors so that communication with these neighbors is feasible when needed. Tracking process introduces an overhead, which increases with the number of discovered neighbors. The overhead can be reduced if nodes maintain only a subset of their neighbors; however, this may increase the length of paths between node pairs in the network. In this work, we study the tradeoffs between node degree and path stretch. We first design a topology control algorithm to optimize t ....etc
