NMOS - N-type metal-oxide-semiconductor logic uses n-type field effect transistors (MOSFETs) to implement logic gates and other digital circuits. These nMOS transistors operate by creating an inversion layer in a p-type transistor body. This inversion layer, called the n-channel, can conduct electrons between n-type source and drain terminals. The n-channel is created by applying voltage to the third terminal, called the gate. Like other MOSFETs, nMOS transistors have four modes of operation: cut-off (or sub-threshold), triode, saturation ....etc

INTRODUCTION

In integrated technologies, BiCMOS, also called BiMOS It is the integration of BJT and CMOS technology into a single device.

In the 1990s modern integrated circuit technologies began to make BICMOS a reality.

BICMOS Circuit uses the characteristics of each type of transistor most appropriately.

Generally this means that high current circuit use metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFETs) for efficient control & portion ....etc

1. INTRODUCTION

GLOBAL Positioning System (GPS) receivers for the consumer market require solutions that are compact, cheap, and low power. Manufacturers of cellular telephones, portable computers, watches, and other mobile devices are looking for ways to embed GPS into their products. Thus, there is a strong motivation to provide highly integrated solutions at the lowest possible power consumption. GPS radios consist of a front-end and a digital baseband section incorporating a digital processor. While for the baseband processor, cost-reduc ....etc

ABSTRACT
BiCMOS technology is a combination of Bipolar and CMOS technology. CMOS technology offers less power dissipation, smaller noise margins, and higher packing density. Bipolar technology, on the other hand, ensures high switching and I/O speed and good noise performance. It follows that BiCMOS technology accomplishes both - improved speed over CMOS and lower power dissipation than bipolar technology. The main drawback of BiCMOS technology is the higher costs due to the added process complexity. Impurity profiles have ....etc

ABSTRACT
The world might have been reaching new heights in technology, man might have made artificial residential environment in outer space. But all this will end up to one primary objective. The aim of every human research is how to make life more comfortable and decrease the mortality of human beings.
For this reason a crucial visual study of animal tissue and environment is highly critical. The number of CMOS technology used as light sensors in different i ....etc

CMOS circuits utilize complementary MOSFETs, i.e; NMOS and PMOS devices together in various patterns to create functional blocks like AND or OR gates. However the problem with these types of CMOS circuits is that they are inherently low power circuits. They cannot handle large currents. So when your block needs to have a large fan out (need to drive a large no of outputs, i.e; more current required) CMOS circuits fail. That is why we use BiCMOS. They are very similar to CMOS circuits except for the BJT(Bipolar Junction Transistor) output stage. ....etc
