Abstract

This project is developed for the users to have accident alert in modern railways.

It consists of a set of IR transmitter and receiver. The transmitter and receiver are connected parallelly in front of the train. Usually IR rays when fall on any obstacles, reflected back. So if any obstacle is placed in front of the train, the receiver receives the reflected signal.

When sudden brakes are applied (air brake) due to large number of bogies they may collide with each other or derail from railway track or may climb one over another which leads to lot of damage.
