Abstract

The differential pressure method is widely used nowadays for air leak detection. In this method, a master tank, which is leak-tight, a tested tank are simultaneously charged to a certain pressure and then closed off each other. If there is air leak in the tested tank, the air leak can be detected from the different pressure occurs between the two tanks.
