Introduction

India's maiden lunar mission, Chandrayaan-1 will be carrying eleven pay-loads.
Out of these eleven payloads, five instruments have been developed and designed in India, three are from European Space Agency, two are from United States and one is from Bulgaria.

This visit was very exciting since the student could see the real satellite. They saw the various subsystems used in the manufacture of the satellite. Also models of the first Indian satellite ARYABHATA, that takes the name of the mathematician Aryabhata, PSLV, GSLV, a video on Chandrayaan, etc..
