This paper presents a new wide-range speed
measurement method, using the direct memory access
(DMA) terminal count register(TCR). The DMA
method is based on both pulse counting in the constant

Abstract

Segmentation of line, word and character are one of the critical phases of optical character recognition (OCR). Due to the imperfection in segmentation, most of the recognition system produce poor recognition rate. In this paper we are discussing some novel approach for line, word and character segmentation of printed Manipuri document. C Program to reverse a number :- This program reverse the number entered by the user and then prints the reversed number on the screen. For example if user enter 123 as input then 321 is printed as output. In our program we have used modulus(%) operator to obtain the digits of a number, we store the digits in an array, pow functions of math.h is used to obtain the reverse of the given number.
