1.1 Types of Power Supply
There are many types of power supply. Most are designed to convert high voltage AC mains electricity to a suitable low voltage supply for electronic circuits and other devices. A power supply can by broken down into a series of blocks, each of which performs a particular function.

This system uses RF transmission technology. The RF transceiver module which I use has a range up to 100 metres in ideal conditions. This module can transmit and receive 4-bit parallel data with or without 8 address bits using a specific encoder and decoder IC s.
